What Is Your Version of Success?

"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts." — Winston Churchill

Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal.
If a person is working towards a predetermined goal and knows exactly where they are heading, that person is a success.
On the other hand, if someone doesn’t have a clear goal or direction, they’re simply drifting, and that’s what defines failure.
Success is about intentionally pursuing something you genuinely want to achieve.
It’s not about competition but about creation—creating your own path and pursuing your own goals.
People with goals succeed because they know where they are going; they have a clear direction and purpose.
Only about 1 in 20 people truly achieve success.
The reason most people don’t succeed is that they conform to the norms of the majority—the 95% who believe their lives are shaped by circumstances rather than their own choices.
The successful 5% are those who decide what they want to become and take deliberate steps toward that goal.
Success is personal and varies for each individual.
It’s the teacher who wanted to teach and is now doing just that, the mother of three who aspired to be a housewife and is happily raising her family, or the salesman who worked tirelessly to become financially free.
Each of these individuals set a clear goal, worked toward it, and achieved it—that’s success.
Success isn’t about the specific career or the size of the achievement; it’s about the fulfillment of a deliberate, personal goal.
There are those who achieve and continue to achieve because they have a clear sense of purpose and a plan to get there.
On the flip side, those who fail often lack direction, much like a ship without a crew or a map.
A ship with a planned voyage, a clear crew, and a mapped-out journey will almost always reach its destination. But a ship without these will likely never leave the harbor, or if it does, it will drift aimlessly and end up lost.
Success is not accidental—it’s intentional.
It’s about knowing what you want, planning how to get there, and persistently working toward your goal, regardless of the obstacles.
It’s the result of a clear vision, consistent effort, and the unwavering determination to reach the destination you’ve set for yourself.
